Typesense

Typesense is an open-source search engine, self-hosted or on Typesense Cloud.

Authentication

  • API key

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Typesense API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Create collectionCreate a Typesense collection and declare its field schema in one call — the setup step before typesense:indexdocument or :search, since documents can only be indexed into a collection that already exists.
  • Delete documentDestructiveRemove one document from a Typesense collection by id.
  • Get collectionRetrieve a single collection's schema and stats (GET collections/{collection}).
  • Get documentFetch one document from a Typesense collection by its id, bypassing search ranking entirely — use it to confirm exactly what is stored under a known id rather than hunting for it with typesense:search.
  • Index documentIndex (create) a document in a collection (POST collections/{collection}/documents, JSON document).
  • List collectionsBrowse the collections defined on the Typesense node - the discovery step for the collection name that typesense:search, :indexdocument and :getdocument take.
  • SearchSearch a Typesense collection (GET collections/{collection}/documents/search) with a query term and searchable fields, plus optional filtering, sorting and paging.

Triggers

  • New collectionStarts when a new collection is created in the connected Typesense cluster.
