TrueLayer

TrueLayer is an open-banking provider: a person authorizes their bank once, and TrueLayer's Data API then serves that account's details, cards and transactions.

Authentication

  • OAuth 2.0

Actions

Generic API request. Call any TrueLayer API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get accountRead one connected bank account by its TrueLayer account id, normally taken from truelayer:listaccounts, to confirm the account type, display name and currency before pulling transactions for it.
  • Get meGet metadata about the access token / connected end user (GET data/v1/me).
  • List accountsList the connected end user's bank accounts (GET data/v1/accounts).
  • List cardsList the credit and debit cards the end user shared through this TrueLayer connection — the card counterpart of truelayer:listaccounts, and the way to find an accountid to read card transactions for.
  • List transactionsList transactions for an account (GET data/v1/accounts/{accountId}/transactions), optionally filtered by a from/to date range.

Triggers

  • New transactionStarts when a new transaction posts to the connected TrueLayer bank account, so a workflow can react to spend or income as it settles.
