Telnyx

Telnyx is a communications provider: it runs the carrier network your SMS and MMS traffic rides on, and sells the phone numbers behind it.

Generic API request. Call any Telnyx API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

Triggers

  • Message received (webhook)Starts the moment an SMS or MMS arrives on a number in a Telnyx messaging profile, delivered by the profile's message webhook.
  • Messages to the numberAnswers as an agent by SMS: when someone texts a number in a Telnyx messaging profile, the agent replies to them from that number.
  • New number orderStarts when a new phone number order is placed in the connected Telnyx account.
  • New phone numberStarts when a new phone number is added to the connected Telnyx account, polling on a schedule.
  • Number order completeStarts when Telnyx reports that a phone number order has finished processing, via the account's numberorder.complete webhook.
