Tally

Tally is a form builder — you design a form, share a link, and people fill it in.

Authentication

  • API key

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Tally API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get formRetrieve a single Tally form by id, with its blocks and settings (GET /forms/{formId}).
  • Get form questionsRead the question schema of one Tally form — the field ids, types and titles you need in order to interpret submissions from tally:listformsubmissions or to map values onto them.
  • Get workspacesList Tally workspaces as a paginated array, with users and pending invites (GET /workspaces).
  • List form submissionsList submissions for a Tally form, with their responses (GET /forms/{formId}/submissions).
  • List formsBrowse the Tally forms on the account to discover a formId for tally:getform, :getformquestions or :listformsubmissions, and to see how many submissions each has collected.

Triggers

  • New form submissionStarts when a respondent completes the selected Tally form, detected by polling that form's submissions list.
  • Response submittedStarts when Tally delivers a signed FORMRESPONSE webhook for the connected form, instead of waiting on the next poll.
