Payments

Stripe

Stripe takes payments and runs the billing around them — customers, charges, payment intents, refunds, products, prices, subscriptions and invoices.

Authentication

  • API key

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Stripe API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Cancel subscriptionDestructiveCancel a Stripe subscription immediately (DELETE /subscriptions/{id}).
  • Create chargeCharge a card token or saved payment source immediately, in a single server-side call and without a PaymentIntent.
  • Create checkout sessionCreate a Stripe-hosted checkout page and get back the URL to redirect the customer to, so you do not have to build a payment form.
  • Create couponDefine a reusable discount that can later be applied to customers, invoices and subscriptions.
  • Create customerCreate the customer record that payments, invoices and subscriptions attach to.
  • Create invoiceRaise an invoice against an existing customer.
  • Create invoice itemAdd a line to a customer's bill: a one-off amount, or a quantity of an existing price.
  • Create payment intentBegin a payment that is confirmed on the client rather than completed in this one call: the returned clientsecret is what a browser or mobile SDK uses to finish it.
  • Create priceAttach a price point to a product you already created: a currency plus unitAmount in that currency's smallest unit (2000 = USD 20.00).
  • Create productCreate the product record that one or more prices hang off - the catalogue entry, not the amount.
  • Create refundGive money back on a completed payment, whole or partial.
  • Create subscriptionStart recurring billing for an existing customer against an existing price - pair it with Create customer and Create price, which produce the two required ids.
  • Delete customerDestructivePermanently remove a customer record.
  • Finalize invoiceTurn a draft invoice into an open one: Stripe assigns its number, freezes its lines and makes it payable.

  • Search customersFind customers with Stripe's search query language when List customers' exact, case-sensitive email filter is not enough: email or name by part (email~"jane"), email ignoring case, phone, metadata or a created range.
  • Search invoicesFind invoices with Stripe's search query language when the List invoices filters cannot express the question: an invoice by its number or receipt number, by metadata, by total (total>100000), or by finalization error.
  • Search subscriptionsFind subscriptions with Stripe's search query language when the List subscriptions filters cannot express the question - above all the ones canceled in a period (canceledat>=1759276800 AND canceledat<1761955200), which a list cannot filter, or by metadata.
  • Send invoiceEmail an invoice to its customer now, outside Stripe's own sending schedule, with a link to the hosted page where they pay it.
  • Update customerDestructiveChange contact details on an existing customer.
  • Update subscriptionDestructiveAmend a live subscription in place: set cancelAtPeriodEnd to schedule (or, set false, to undo) cancellation at the end of the current billing period, swap defaultPaymentMethod, or set prorationBehavior to createprorations, none or alwaysinvoice to control how a mid-cycle change is billed.
  • Void invoiceDestructiveCancel a finalized invoice for good: it stays on the customer's record for audit with status void, and can no longer be paid or reopened.
