Spotify

Spotify streams music, and its Web API exposes the catalog plus whatever the signed-in listener can see — their playlists, the artists they follow, their profile.

Generic API request. Call any Spotify API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

• Get artistGet Spotify catalog information for a single artist by id (GET /artists/{artistId}).
• Get current userGet the profile of the user the connection is authenticated as (GET /me).
• Get playlistGet a playlist owned by a Spotify user by its id (GET /playlists/{playlistId}).
• List followed artistsList the artists the connected user follows, which is the only way the Web API enumerates artists at all - the catalogue itself can only be searched.
• List my playlistsList the playlists owned or followed by the current user (GET /me/playlists), with optional pagination.
• SearchSearch the Spotify catalog for items matching a query (GET /search).
