SparkPost
SparkPost is a transactional email service — you send mail through its API, and it reports back what happened to every message: delivered, bounced, delayed, rejected.
Authentication
- API key
Actions
Generic API request. Call any SparkPost API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Get accountRead the connected SparkPost account's own record - companyname, countrycode and status (active, ...) - which is both the who-am-I check for a connection and the quickest way to confirm the account is not suspended before troubleshooting a send.
- List sending domainsList the sending domains registered on the account with their verification state - the first place to look when a send is rejected on its From address.
- List templatesList the stored transactional templates so you can resolve a template name to the id a send references, and see from published whether a template has a live version or only a draft.
- List webhooksList the event webhooks configured on the account, each with its id, name, target URL and the events it subscribes to, plus the outcome of its last delivery attempt.
Triggers
- Email receivedStarts for each email received at the SparkPost inbound domain, relayed by a SparkPost relay webhook as parsed JSON.
- Emails to the inbound domainAnswers as an agent by email: when someone writes to an address at the SparkPost inbound domain, the agent replies in the same email thread.
- Message event received (webhook)Starts for each message lifecycle event (delivery, bounce, open, click, ...) SparkPost reports for the account, delivered by a webhook instead of polling the Message Events API.
- New message eventStarts when SparkPost records a new message event (delivery, bounce, open, click, and similar) for the account.
