Sinch SMS

Sinch SMS is a bulk SMS/MMS API: batch sends, inbound messages and recipient groups on a service plan.

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Sinch SMS API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get batchRead one SMS batch by its id - a batch being one send, possibly to many recipients - to see the from number, the full to list and the message body as Sinch stored it.
  • List batchesList batch messages for the service plan (GET /{servicePlanId}/batches).
  • List groupsList recipient groups for the service plan (GET /{servicePlanId}/groups).
  • List inbound messagesList inbound (MO) messages for the service plan (GET /{servicePlanId}/inbounds).
  • Send SMSSend a text SMS batch to one or more phone numbers or group ids from a number, short code or alphanumeric sender on the service plan.

Triggers

  • Message received (webhook)Starts the moment a text message (MO SMS) arrives on one of the connected service plan's numbers, delivered by Sinch's callback instead of polling the inbound list.
  • New batch messageStarts when a new SMS batch message is sent through the connected Sinch account.
  • New inbound messageStarts when a new inbound SMS (MO) message is received on the connected Sinch account.
  • New or updated groupStarts when a recipient group is created or its details (name, size, or membership) change in Sinch SMS.
  • Texts to your numberAnswers as an agent by SMS: when someone texts one of the service plan's Sinch numbers, the agent replies to them from that number.
