Generic API request. Call any SignNow API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get documentRead one document's metadata by its SignNow id - documentname, pagecount and the rest of the stored record - e.g. to confirm the right file before sending it out for signature.
  • Get document historyRetrieve the full event history for a document (GET /document/{documentId}/historyfull).
  • Get userRetrieve the authenticated SignNow user account (GET /user).
  • List documentsList the documents owned by the authenticated SignNow user, to resolve a file name to the document id that signing-invite and download actions take.

Triggers

  • Document completedStarts when all required fields on a document owned by the connected SignNow user have been filled in and signed.
  • New documentStarts when a new document is uploaded to the connected SignNow account.
