Sentry
Sentry collects errors and performance events from your applications and groups identical errors into issues.
Authentication
- Auth token
Actions
Generic API request. Call any Sentry API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Create projectCreate a project inside an existing team - the container issues and events are grouped under, and the thing a DSN points at.
- Get issueRead one issue - Sentry's grouping of identical errors - by its numeric id: title, culprit, status and substatus, event and user counts, first and last seen, first and last release, assignee and the tag keys it carries.
- Get issue eventRead one event of an issue in full - its exception entries with every stack frame (file, function, line, in-app flag and source context), the trail of actions recorded before it, request, tags, contexts, user and release.
- Get issue tagRead how one tag's values are distributed across every event of an issue - which environments, releases, browsers, OSes or servers it hits and how often.
- Get projectRetrieve a single project by organization and project slug (GET /projects/{orgSlug}/{projectSlug}/).
- List issue eventsList the individual events that rolled up into one issue, filtered by time range, environment or an event search query - to see how tags, releases and users spread across occurrences.
- List issuesSearch an organization's issues - one project, several or all - with a Sentry search query, a time range, a sort and a page size.
- List membersList an organization's members, including approved invites not yet accepted, to resolve a person to the user id or email Update issue assigns by.
- List organizationsList the Sentry organizations the auth token can access, to resolve an organization slug before calling any organization-scoped action.
- List project eventsList the raw events reported by one project, ungrouped - the firehose view, as opposed to List issues which returns them collapsed into issues.
- List projectsList every Sentry project the auth token can access, to turn a project name into the organization slug + project slug pair that issue and event actions take.
- List releasesList an organization's releases, most recent first - the version markers Sentry attributes new and regressed issues to - for one or more projects or environments, or matching part of a version.
- List teamsList an organization's teams - the team slug Create project needs, the team id an issue is assigned to as team:<id>, or project ownership.
- Update issueDestructiveChange one issue: resolve it (now, in a named release or in the next one), archive it until a duration, a count or a user count is reached or forever, reopen it, set its priority, or assign it to a user or team.
Triggers
- Issue alert triggeredStarts when a Sentry alert rule fires for a new event, delivering the matching error event and the rule that triggered it.
- New issue eventStarts when a new event is recorded against the selected Sentry issue, detected by polling the issue's events list with a since-date filter.
- New project eventStarts when a new error event is captured on the selected Sentry project, detected by polling the project's events list.
- New releaseStarts when a new release is created in the selected Sentry organization, detected by polling the organization's releases list which the API returns sorted by most recent.
