RudderStack is a customer data pipeline — sources collect events, destinations receive them, and a connection links one to the other.

Generic API request. Call any RudderStack API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Get sourceRead one event source's configuration by id - its name, type (e.g. javascript) and whether it is enabled - which is how you confirm a source is live before chasing missing events.
- List connectionsList all source-to-destination connections in the workspace (GET /connections).
- List destinationsList the destinations configured in the workspace - the warehouses and tools RudderStack forwards events on to - each with its id, name and type (e.g. snowflake, amplitude).
- List sourcesList the event sources in the workspace - the SDKs and integrations sending data in - which is where the source id that Get source takes comes from.
