Generic API request. Call any RingCentral API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get accountGet the authenticated RingCentral account (GET restapi/v1.0/account/~).
  • Get extensionRead the extension the current credentials belong to - the who-am-I call for a RingCentral connection.
  • List call logList call-log records for the authenticated extension (GET restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/call-log).
  • List extensionsList extensions for the authenticated account (GET restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension).
  • List messagesList message-store records for the authenticated extension (GET restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension/~/message-store).
  • Send SMSSend an SMS from one of the authenticated extension's SMS-enabled phone numbers to one or more phone numbers.

Triggers

  • New call log recordStarts when a new RingCentral call-log record appears.
  • New messageStarts when a new SMS, fax, voicemail, pager, or text message is recorded in the authenticated extension's message store.
  • Text messages to the extensionAnswers as an agent by SMS: when someone texts one of the connected extension's RingCentral numbers, the agent replies to them from that number.
