Ramp

Ramp is a corporate card and spend platform: cards and funds issued to employees, the transactions those cards make, bills, reimbursements, trips, approvals, and the people and departments spend is attributed to.

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Ramp API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get business balanceRead the connected Ramp business's balance and limits: card balance including pending, statement balance, card and global limits, available limit and the previous and next billing dates.
  • Get physical cardRead one physical card by id: its display name, cardholder, last four digits, expiration, state and whether it is suspended.
  • Get tripRead one trip by id: its name, status, traveler, dates, locations, travel types, total spend and the spend events booked against it.
  • Get userRead one Ramp user by id to recover their identity, permissions and where they sit in the org.
  • Get virtual cardRead one virtual card by id: its owner, the fund it spends from and whether it is suspended.
  • List approvalsRead the approval chain of specific bills, reimbursements or card transactions: whether each is approved, pending or rejected, who acted and when, and who must approve next.
  • List billsList the bills (accounts payable invoices) on the connected Ramp business, newest first, filtered by payment or approval status, status summary and due, issue or paid date.
  • List departmentsList the departments defined on the connected Ramp business, so spend can be grouped or a user's departmentid resolved to a name.
  • List fundsList the funds (spend limits) on the connected Ramp business, filtered by name, member, creation date and termination.
  • List physical cardsList the physical cards issued on the connected Ramp business, filtered by cardholder, display name, activation and termination.
  • List reimbursementsList out-of-pocket and mileage reimbursements on the connected Ramp business, filtered by state, approval, submitter, trip and date.
  • List transactionsList card transactions on the Ramp business (GET /developer/v1/transactions, optional fromdate filter and pagesize paging).
  • List tripsList business trips on the connected Ramp business, filtered by status, traveler, name, date window and total spend.
  • List usersList the users on the connected Ramp business — the entry point for finding the user id a card or a transaction belongs to.
  • List virtual cardsList the virtual cards on the connected Ramp business, filtered by owner and termination.
  • Lock physical cardDestructiveSuspend (lock) one physical card so it declines new purchases until it is unlocked; the card is not terminated and keeps its number.
  • Unlock physical cardDestructiveLift the suspension on one physical card so it can be used again.

Triggers

  • New or updated transactionStarts when a Ramp card transaction is created or updated.
  • Transaction clearedStarts when a Ramp card transaction clears (settles) and posts to the ledger.
  • Transaction declinedStarts when a Ramp card transaction attempt is declined at authorization.
