Actions
Generic API request. Call any Raindrop.io API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Create collectionCreate a new collection to file bookmarks into — a top-level one, or a child of an existing collection when you set Parent collection.
- Create raindropSave one URL as a bookmark, with optional title, description, note, tags and highlights.
- Create raindropsSave a batch of URLs as bookmarks in a single call — the way to import a list without paying one request per entry, and what keeps a large import inside Raindrop.io's 120-requests-per-minute budget.
- Delete raindropDestructiveRemove one bookmark.
- Get collectionRead one collection's record — its title, how many bookmarks it holds, whether it is public, and the parent it hangs under.
- Get raindropRead one bookmark in full — its URL, title, description, note, tags, highlights and which collection it sits in.
- List child collectionsList every nested collection in the account — the collections that sit under a parent and are therefore absent from raindrop:listcollections.
- List collectionsList the account's top-level collections — the starting point for anything that works with bookmarks, because every other Raindrop.io action is addressed by a numeric collection id and this is where those ids come from.
- List raindropsRead a page of bookmarks out of a collection, optionally narrowed by Raindrop.io's own search syntax and ordered by date, title, domain or relevance.
- List tagsRead the account's tag vocabulary with a usage count for each — what to call before tagging a bookmark, so a workflow reuses an existing tag rather than minting a near-duplicate.
- Rename or merge tagsDestructiveRewrite every bookmark carrying the named tags so they carry a single new tag instead.
- Suggest collection and tagsAsk Raindrop.io where an existing bookmark belongs — it answers with the collections and tags it would file that bookmark under, based on the page and on how this account has filed similar things.
- Update collectionDestructiveChange an existing collection — rename it, publish or unpublish it, reorder it, or move it under a different parent.
- Update raindropDestructiveChange an existing bookmark — retitle it, rewrite its note, retag it, mark it a favourite, or move it to another collection by setting Collection.
