Pingdom

Pingdom is SolarWinds' uptime monitoring service: it probes your sites and endpoints from outside your network and records whether they answered and how quickly.

Generic API request. Call any Pingdom API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get account credits (v1)Get the account's available check and SMS credit balances (GET /credits).
  • Get check (v1)Read one Pingdom uptime check by its numeric id to see whether the monitored target is currently up.
  • Get check summary (average) (v1)Get the average response time and uptime summary for a check (GET /summary.average/{checkId}).
  • List alerting contacts (v2)List the alerting contacts configured on the Pingdom account, to resolve a person or team name to the numeric contact id that a check's alert routing takes.
  • List checks (v1)List all uptime checks in the account (GET /checks).
  • List maintenance windows (v1)List the scheduled maintenance windows on the connected Pingdom account, so alerting can be suppressed or an outage explained as planned.
