Particle
Particle runs the cloud side of a fleet of IoT devices — which ones are online, when they last checked in, and the events they publish.
Authentication
- API key
Actions
Generic API request. Call any Particle API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Get deviceRead one Particle device's full state by its id or name — the usual way to check whether an IoT device is currently reachable before publishing a function call to it.
- List devicesList the Particle devices claimed to the authenticated account, to resolve a device name to the id that variable, function and event actions take.
Triggers
- Device checked inStarts when a device in the connected Particle account reports to the cloud, detected by a change in its lastheard timestamp.
- Device event published (webhook)Starts the instant a connected Particle device publishes an event, delivered by the Particle Device Cloud webhook.
