ParseHub

ParseHub is a point-and-click web scraper: you build a project in its desktop app, and each run of that project crawls a site and extracts structured data.

Authentication

  • API key

Actions

Generic API request. Call any ParseHub API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Cancel runDestructiveStop a ParseHub run that is still in progress and return the run object with status cancelled.
  • Delete runDestructivePermanently delete a ParseHub run and all the data it extracted, cancelling it first if it is still running.
  • Get last ready run dataDownload the data from a ParseHub project's most recent completed run, as JSON, without needing a run token.
  • Get projectGet one ParseHub project by its token: its title, start URL and template, its last run, its last completed run and up to 20 recent runs.
  • Get runGet the status of one ParseHub run by its run token: whether it is queued, running, complete, cancelled or failed, how many pages it has visited and whether its data is ready.
  • Get run dataDownload the data a ParseHub run extracted, as JSON.
  • List projectsList the ParseHub projects in the account, 20 at most per page, with each project's token, title and most recent runs.
  • Run projectDestructiveStart a new run of a ParseHub project and return the run object, whose runtoken the run and run-data actions take.
