Parallel is a web research API for AI agents: a search call returns ranked, LLM-ready excerpts, and a task run does deeper asynchronous research and reports back once finished.

Generic API request. Call any Parallel API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Create task runStart an asynchronous Parallel deep-research task run (POST /v1/tasks/runs, application/json).
  • Get task runRetrieve the status of a Parallel task run by run id (GET /v1/tasks/runs/{runid}).
  • Get task run resultRetrieve the result of a completed Parallel task run by run id (GET /v1/tasks/runs/{runid}/result).
