Mux
Mux is video infrastructure: you send it a file or an RTMP live stream, it encodes the result into an asset you can play back.
Authentication
- API key
Actions
Generic API request. Call any Mux API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Get assetRead one Mux video asset by id — the usual way to poll whether an ingest has finished before handing out a playback URL.
- List assetsList the video assets stored on the connected Mux account, for inventory or for finding the id of a recently ingested video.
- List live streamsList the live streams configured on the connected Mux account — use it to find a stream's id, or to check which streams are currently idle versus active.
- List uploadsList the direct uploads created on the connected Mux account, to track a browser-side upload through to the asset it produced.
Triggers
- Asset created (webhook)Starts when Mux creates a new video asset, delivered by a webhook instead of polling the list-assets endpoint.
- New assetStarts a workflow when a new video asset is created in Mux, detected by polling the most recent page of the list-assets endpoint for createdat values newer than the last poll.
