Communication

Missive

Missive is a shared team inbox: conversations, the contacts and contact books behind them, and the teams messages get assigned to.

Authentication

  • API key

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Missive API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Create draftCreate an email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, custom-channel or Missive Live Chat draft — in a new conversation, or as a reply in an existing one named by conversation or references — and, with send true, send it at once as the token's user.
  • Get messageFetch one Missive message by id with its headers, full HTML body and attachments — the body a webhook or a conversation listing only previews.
  • List contact booksList the contact books the connected Missive token can reach.
  • List contactsList the contacts held in one Missive contact book, to resolve a person's email to the contact id other Missive calls address them by.
  • List conversationsList the conversations in the connected Missive inbox — the entry point for finding the conversation id that a later read or reply is addressed by.
  • List teamsList the teams defined in the connected Missive organization, so a conversation or a report can be attributed to the right team.

Triggers

  • Conversation label changed (webhook)Starts when Missive delivers a labelchange webhook event for a conversation, pushed instead of waiting for the next poll.

  • Message received (webhook)Starts when a message arrives in Missive and a Missive rule for incoming messages posts it to this connection's webhook URL.
  • New or updated contactStarts when a contact in one Missive contact book is created or its details change.
  • New or updated conversationStarts when a conversation gets new activity in Missive, detected by polling the conversations list.
