Support

Kustomer

Kustomer is a customer-service platform: one profile per customer, conversations hanging off it, and messages on each conversation timeline.

Authentication

  • API key

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Kustomer API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Create conversationOpen a new conversation thread against an existing Kustomer customer, the container that messages and agent replies then hang off.
  • Create customerCreate a customer record in Kustomer with a name plus any number of emails and phones, and optionally your own externalId so later lookups can find it without storing the Kustomer id.
  • Create messageAppend a message to an existing Kustomer conversation timeline, recording what was sent or received on a channel.
  • Get conversationFetch one Kustomer conversation by id to read its current status and priority before replying or escalating.
  • Get customerFetch one Kustomer customer by its Kustomer id to read the stored name, emails and phones before updating them or opening a conversation.
  • Get customer by external idFind a Kustomer customer by the identifier your own system assigned rather than by Kustomer's id: the action to reach for when syncing from an external database.
  • Get userFetch one Kustomer user (a support agent, not a customer) by id, to resolve who an assignment or a message is attributed to.
  • List conversationsBrowse the conversations in the Kustomer account for triage or reporting, walking the set with page and pageSize.
  • List custom objectsList the records of one Kustomer custom object class (a klass such as an order or a subscription that the account has modelled itself).
  • List customersBrowse the customer records in the Kustomer account, walking the set with page and pageSize.
  • List usersList the users of the Kustomer account — the support agents, not the customers — so an assignment or a message can be attributed to a person and their id resolved from their name.
  • Update customerDestructiveChange the stored details of an existing Kustomer customer, such as their name or the externalId that links them to your own system.
