Grafana

Grafana is where dashboards, data sources and alert rules live.

Authentication

  • API key

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Grafana API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Create folderCreate a Grafana folder (POST folders).
  • Create or update dashboardCreate a new dashboard or update an existing one (POST dashboards/db).
  • Delete dashboardDestructivePermanently delete a Grafana dashboard, addressed by its uid — the short token in the dashboard's URL after /d/, which survives renames — not its numeric id and not its title.
  • Get dashboardRetrieve a single Grafana dashboard (with meta) by its uid (GET dashboards/uid/{uid}).
  • Get data sourceRetrieve a single Grafana data source by its uid (GET datasources/uid/{datasourceUid}).
  • List alert rulesList all provisioned Grafana alert rules (GET v1/provisioning/alert-rules).
  • List data sourcesList all Grafana data sources the token can access (GET datasources).
  • List foldersList Grafana folders (GET folders), with optional paging.
  • Search dashboardsSearch Grafana dashboards and folders (GET search), with optional query text, type filter, tag and limit.

Triggers

  • Alert notification (webhook)Starts when Grafana's alerting engine sends a firing or resolved notification through a signed webhook contact point.
  • New or updated alert ruleStarts when an alert rule is provisioned or its definition changes in the connected Grafana instance.
