Google Drive
Google Drive stores files and the collaboration around them — folders, shared drives, comments, sharing grants, version history and Workspace labels.

Actions
Generic API request. Call any Google Drive API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Approve approvalDestructiveRecord the connected user's approval on a review round opened by googledrive:startapproval.
- Cancel approvalDestructiveWithdraw a review round that is still running, setting its status to CANCELLED and releasing any file lock it was holding.
- Comment on approvalAdd a note to a review round without approving or declining it.
- Copy fileDuplicate an existing Drive file, optionally naming the copy and placing it under specific parent folders.
- Create commentOpen a new comment thread on a Drive file — the way to leave review feedback on a Doc, Sheet, Slide or PDF without editing it.
- Create file (metadata)Create a file metadata record without content (POST /files, JSON {name, mimeType?, parents?}).
- Create folderCreate a folder in the connected Drive.
- Create replyReply to a comment thread on a Drive file — and the only way to resolve or reopen one.
- Create shared driveCreate a shared drive — a team-owned space whose files belong to the organisation rather than to the person who uploaded them, which is what makes it the right home for content that must outlive an individual account.
- Decline approvalDestructiveRecord the connected user's rejection of a review round.
- Delete commentDestructiveDelete a comment thread and every reply under it.
- Delete fileDestructivePermanently delete a file by id (DELETE /files/{fileId}).
- Delete replyDestructiveDelete a single reply from a Drive comment thread, leaving the parent comment and the other replies in place.
- Delete revisionDestructivePermanently destroy one stored version of a Drive file.
- Delete shared driveDestructivePermanently delete a shared drive.
- Download fileDownload the bytes of a Drive file that stores real content — anything uploaded to Drive, as opposed to a Google Docs, Sheets or Slides file, which holds no bytes of its own and must go through googledrive:exportfile instead.
- Empty trashDestructivePermanently delete every file currently in the trash.
- Export fileConvert a Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or Drawings file into a downloadable format — this is how a Google Doc becomes a PDF or a .docx, since an editor file stores no bytes of its own and googledrive:downloadfile cannot fetch one.
- Generate CSE tokenMint the client-side-encryption token a Workspace CSE client must present before it can create or update an encrypted file in this Drive.
- Generate file idsReserve a batch of Drive file ids up front, so a workflow can decide a file's id before it creates the file.
- Get about (account info)Retrieve information about the user and their Drive, including storage quota (GET /about?fields=...).
- Get access proposalRead one pending "request access" proposal on a Drive item by id.
- Get approvalRead one approval round on a Drive file by id.
- Get change cursorRead the cursor that marks 'now' in a Drive's change log.
- Get commentRead one comment thread on a Drive file by id, including the passage of the file it quotes and the replies posted under it.
- Get fileRead one Drive file's or folder's metadata by id — its name, mimeType, parents and anything else the fields selector asks for.
- Get installed appRead one installed Drive app by id: its name and descriptions, the file extensions and media types it opens, whether it can create files, and the URL templates for opening or creating a file with it.
- Get operationPoll a long-running Drive operation — the one googledrive:startfiledownload hands back — until body.done turns true, then read body.response for the finished result or body.error for the failure.
- Get permissionRead one existing sharing grant on a Drive file, folder or shared drive.
- Get replyRead one reply inside a Drive comment thread by id, including its author and whether it resolved or reopened the thread.
- Get revisionRead the metadata of one stored version of a Drive file — its modified time, size, checksum, last modifying user, and whether it is pinned with keepForever or published.
- Get shared driveRead one shared drive's metadata by id.
- Hide shared driveDestructiveRemove a shared drive from the connected user's default Drive view without deleting it or changing anyone's access.
- List access proposalsList the pending "request access" proposals waiting on a Drive item — the requests raised when somebody opens a link they cannot yet read.
- List approvalsList the approval requests raised on a Drive file — the formal review rounds started by googledrive:startapproval, each with its own reviewers, due date and running status.
- List changesRead a Drive's change log forward from a cursor — the incremental way to learn what was created, edited, trashed or unshared, without re-listing the whole Drive every time.
- List commentsList the comment threads on a Drive file — the review conversation attached to a Doc, Sheet, Slide or PDF, not the file's contents.
- List file labelsList the Drive labels currently applied to a file, with each label's field values — what a classification, retention or routing rule reads before it decides what to do with the file.
- List filesSearch the connected Drive for files and folders.
- List installed appsList the third-party apps the connected user has installed and authorised for Drive, with the file types each one can open or create and the URL templates for doing so.
- List permissionsList who currently has access to a Drive file or folder.
- List repliesList the replies posted under one comment thread on a Drive file, oldest first.
- List revisionsList the stored version history of a Drive file, oldest first — who last modified each version, when, how big it was, and whether it is pinned.
- List shared drivesList the shared drives the connected account can reach.
- Modify file labelsDestructiveApply, change or remove Drive labels on a file in one call — the taxonomy a Workspace admin defines for classification, retention and DLP.
- Reassign approval reviewersDestructiveChange who is being asked to sign off on a review round that is still in progress — the fix for a reviewer who is on leave, has left, or was named in error.
- Resolve access proposalDestructiveSettle a pending "request access" proposal by accepting or denying it.
- Restore file from trashDestructiveRestore a trashed Drive file or folder to where it was, undoing a googledrive:trashfile (or a user's own trash action) as long as Drive has not purged it yet — the 30-day window after trashing.
- Share file (create permission)DestructiveShare a Drive file or folder by adding a permission to it.
- Start approvalDestructiveOpen a formal review round on a Drive file and notify the reviewers you name.
- Start file downloadStart a long-running download of a Drive file and get back an operation to poll.
- Stop notification channelDestructiveClose a Drive push-notification channel so Google stops delivering to its endpoint — the cleanup step for a subscription opened by googledrive:watchfile or googledrive:watchchanges, and what to call when the receiving endpoint is being retired.
- Trash fileDestructiveMove a Drive file or folder to the trash, where its owner can still restore it and Drive purges it automatically after 30 days.
- Unhide shared driveDestructiveRestore a shared drive to the connected user's default Drive view, undoing googledrive:hidedrive.
- Unshare file (delete permission)DestructiveRevoke one sharing grant, removing that person's, group's, domain's or public link's access to a Drive item.
- Update commentDestructiveEdit the text of an existing comment thread — correcting or amending feedback in place rather than deleting and re-posting it, which would lose the replies underneath.
- Update fileDestructiveRename a Drive file and/or move it between folders in a single call.
- Update file contentDestructiveReplace the bytes of an existing Drive file while keeping its id, name, parents and sharing intact — the way to publish a new version of a document other people already link to, instead of uploading a second file and re-sharing it.
- Update permissionDestructiveChange an existing sharing grant in place — promote a reader to writer, put an expiry on a grant, or hand ownership over.
- Update replyDestructiveEdit the text of a reply already posted in a Drive comment thread, correcting it in place rather than deleting and re-posting.
- Update revisionDestructivePin or publish one stored version of a Drive file.
- Update shared driveDestructiveRename a shared drive, restyle it, or change the sharing restrictions that govern everything inside it.
- Upload fileUpload content into the connected Drive and set the new file's metadata in one operation — the action to reach for whenever a workflow has bytes that must end up as a Drive file.
- Watch changesOpen a push-notification channel over a whole Drive's change log, so Google POSTs to your endpoint whenever anything changes rather than a workflow polling googledrive:listchanges on a timer.
- Watch fileOpen a push-notification channel on one Drive file, so Google POSTs to your endpoint when the file changes instead of a workflow polling for it.
