Google Cloud Tasks

Google Cloud Tasks holds work that a service enqueues now and a worker handles later — one queue per region, one task per unit of work.

Authentication

  • Service account (JWT bearer)

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Google Cloud Tasks API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get taskRead one queued Cloud Tasks task by name — a single unit of work waiting in, or being retried by, a queue.
  • List locationsList the regions in which this project can hold Cloud Tasks queues.
  • List queuesList the Cloud Tasks queues in one region of a project.
  • List tasksList the tasks currently sitting in one Cloud Tasks queue — work that has been enqueued but not yet dispatched and acknowledged.

Triggers

  • New taskStarts when a new task is created in the chosen Cloud Tasks queue, detected by its createTime timestamp advancing past the stored cursor on each poll.
