Google Cloud DNS

Google Cloud DNS is Google Cloud's managed authoritative DNS service: managed zones hold the record sets that answer queries for a domain, and server policies govern how VPC networks resolve DNS.

Authentication

  • Service account (JWT bearer)

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Google Cloud DNS API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get managed zoneRead one Cloud DNS managed zone — the container that holds a domain's DNS records — by its name inside a project.
  • List managed zonesList the Cloud DNS managed zones in a project — one zone per domain the project is authoritative for.
  • List policiesList the Cloud DNS server policies defined in a project.
  • List resource record setsRead the DNS records held in one managed zone — the A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and NS entries that actually answer queries for the zone's domain.

Triggers

  • New DNS changeStarts when a new change operation is recorded against a Cloud DNS managed zone — every record-set addition or deletion the zone has processed, including changes made outside this workflow.
