Figma

Figma is where design files live — documents, components, published libraries, and the comments people leave on them.

Actions

Generic API request. Call any Figma API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get component setsList the component sets published in one Figma file — the variant groups behind a design system.
  • Get fileRetrieve a Figma file's document tree and metadata (GET /files/{fileKey}).
  • Get file commentsRead the comments left on a Figma file, including their canvas anchors and threading.
  • Get file nodesRetrieve specific nodes from a Figma file (GET /files/{fileKey}/nodes).
  • Get file versionsList the version history of a Figma file (GET /files/{fileKey}/versions).
  • Get imagesRender specific nodes of a Figma file to images and get back URLs to the rendered output — this is how you export a frame or component as an asset.
  • Get meRead the Figma user this connection authenticates as.
  • Get project filesList the files inside one Figma project.
  • Get team componentsList published components in a Figma team (GET /teams/{teamId}/components).
  • Get team projectsList the projects belonging to a Figma team.
  • Post commentPost a comment on a Figma file, optionally anchored to a point on the canvas via clientmeta so reviewers see it in context rather than as a loose file note, or reply in an existing comment's thread with commentid.

Triggers

  • Comment posted on a file (webhook)Starts the moment someone posts a comment on a file in the connected Figma team, delivered by a webhook instead of polling the comment list.
  • File commentsAnswers as an agent in Figma comments: when someone mentions the connection's user in a comment — or, if you choose, posts any new comment — on a watched team, project or file, the agent replies in that comment's thread, and later replies there continue the conversation.
  • New commentStarts a workflow when a new comment is left on the configured Figma file, detected by polling the file's full comment list (which Figma returns unpaginated) for createdat values newer than the last poll.
