Generic API request. Call any ClickSend API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get account (v1)Retrieve the ClickSend account behind the connection, including its remaining message credit balance — worth checking before a bulk send.
  • List contact lists (v1)List the contact lists on the ClickSend account (GET /lists).
  • List SMS history (v1)List the SMS message history on the ClickSend account (GET /sms/history).
  • Send SMS (v1)Send one SMS from a dedicated number, alphanumeric sender or the account's shared pool to a phone number.

Triggers

  • Message received (webhook)Starts the moment a text message arrives on any of the account's ClickSend numbers, pushed by an inbound rule instead of polling.
  • New SMS sentStarts when a new SMS message is recorded in ClickSend's send history, keyed off the message's send timestamp.
  • Texts to your numberAnswers as an agent by SMS: when someone texts one of the account's ClickSend numbers, the agent replies to them from that number.
