Chatwoot
Chatwoot is an open-source customer support desk — inboxes collect conversations, contacts are the people in them, agents are your staff.
Authentication
- API access token
Actions
Generic API request. Call any Chatwoot API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.
- Create messagePost a message into an existing Chatwoot conversation.
- List agentsList the agents (support staff) on the Chatwoot account the connection is scoped to.
- List contactsList the contacts — the end users who have messaged you — on the connected Chatwoot account, so you can resolve a contact id before reading or updating one.
- List conversationsList the conversations on the connected Chatwoot account so you can pick a conversation id before reading its messages or assigning an agent.
- Toggle typing statusShow or clear the "typing…" indicator in a Chatwoot conversation as the user the connection's token belongs to, so the customer sees an answer is being written.
Triggers

- New or updated contactStarts when a Chatwoot contact is created or has new activity, so a workflow can react to contact changes.
- New or updated conversationStarts when a conversation is opened or its status, assignment, or activity changes in the connected Chatwoot account.
