Census is a reverse ETL platform: it reads from your data warehouse and writes the result into downstream business tools.

Generic API request. Call any Census API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get syncRetrieve a single reverse ETL sync by id (GET /syncs/{syncId}).
  • List destinationsList reverse ETL destinations in the workspace (GET /destinations).
  • List sourcesList reverse ETL sources in the workspace (GET /sources).
  • List syncsList reverse ETL syncs in the workspace (GET /syncs).

Triggers

  • New destinationStarts when a new destination connection, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, is added to the Census workspace.
  • New sourceStarts when a new data warehouse source is connected in the Census workspace, such as a Snowflake or BigQuery connection.
  • New syncStarts when a new reverse ETL sync is created in the Census workspace, before it has produced any runs.
  • New sync runStarts when a Census reverse ETL sync produces a new run, whether triggered manually, on a schedule, or by an upstream data change.
