Blockscout is an open-source block explorer that runs one instance per EVM chain — Ethereum, Base, OP Mainnet, Gnosis, Arbitrum and many more.

Generic API request. Call any Blockscout API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • Get addressRead one address on the chain: native coin balance (in wei), USD exchange rate, whether it is a contract and whether that contract is verified, its ENS name, proxy implementations and whether it holds tokens.
  • Get blockRead one block by number or hash: height, hash, timestamp, miner or proposer, transaction count, gas used and limit, base fee, burnt fees and rewards.
  • Get chain statsRead chain-wide counters for the connection's network: total blocks, addresses and transactions, transactions today, average block time, native coin price and market cap, current gas prices (slow/average/fast, in gwei) and network utilization.
  • Get smart contractRead a contract's verified source: name, compiler and language, ABI, source code, constructor arguments, license and proxy implementations.
  • Get tokenRead one token contract: name, symbol, decimals, standard (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), total supply, holder count, and market data (USD price, market cap, 24h volume) where Blockscout has it.
  • Get transactionRead one transaction: status and result (success or revert), block and time, from/to, native value, fee, gas used and price, nonce and the decoded method name.
  • List address token balancesList the tokens an address holds with their balances, largest USD value first, 50 per page: each row carries the token (address, name, symbol, decimals, standard, USD price), the raw value and, for NFTs, the tokenid.
  • List address token transfersList token movements into or out of an address, newest first, 50 per page: transaction hash, block, time, from/to, token, raw amount with decimals, and transfer type (transfer, mint, burn).
  • List address transactionsList the transactions an address sent or received, newest first, 50 per page: hash, block, time, from/to, native value, fee, status and decoded method.
  • List token holdersList the holders of a token, largest balance first, 50 per page: holder address, raw balance and, for NFTs, the tokenid.
  • List transaction logsList the event logs a transaction emitted, 50 per page: emitting contract, topics, raw data and, when the contract is verified, the decoded event name and parameters.
  • List transaction token transfersList the token movements inside one transaction, 50 per page: from/to, token, raw amount with decimals, and transfer type.
  • SearchSearch the chain's explorer index for tokens, addresses, contracts, ENS names, blocks and transactions matching a free-text query (a symbol, a name, a hash or an address).
