46elks is a Nordic telecom API for SMS, voice calls and virtual phone numbers.

Generic API request. Call any 46elks API endpoint on this connection, for the case where no shipped action covers it yet. The connection supplies the base URL, the authentication and the egress route, so only the path, query and body are yours to fill.

  • List phone numbersList allocated phone numbers on the account (GET /numbers).
  • List SMS messagesList SMS messages from the account history (GET /sms).
  • List voice callsList voice calls from the account history (GET /calls).
  • Send SMSSend an SMS from a 46elks number or an alphanumeric sender id to one phone number.

  • New callStarts when a new voice call is placed or received in 46elks.
  • New numberStarts when a new virtual phone number is allocated to the 46elks account.
  • New SMSStarts when a new SMS message is sent or received on the 46elks account.
  • SMS received (webhook)Starts the instant an SMS arrives on a 46elks virtual number, delivered by a webhook instead of waiting for the next poll.
  • Texts to the numberAnswers as an agent by SMS: when someone texts a 46elks virtual number, the agent replies to them from that number.
